NECC 2007: e-Scrapbooking

I just left a morning workshop out at The Lovett School in Cobb County called eScrapbooking: Where Virtual and Natural Worlds Meet. The two presenters were Annette Lamb and Larry Johnson of eduscapes.com. This was a very high energy and information-filled three hours of how to create and use e-scrapbooking in many parts of the curriculum.

With one the district’s push towards Project Based Learning (not to be confused with the districts initiative towards Problem Based Learning), I felt this was a good workshop to attend. I wasn’t disappointed. Thankfully, Annette and Larry provided a website where many of the resources talked about in the workshop are provided. That’s a good thing. Because I just couldn’t write it all down or even keep up with Annette’s high energy and tons of information she was providing. As she said, this was easily enough information that could have been provided in a workshop that lasted several DAYS instead of three hours. I’ll need a little while to process what we went over and go back over many of the resources from the workshop. I WAS able to come away with many ideas that I can implement in the district. Hopefully, I will be able to post in future blog posts I how I used this information.

I’m sorry I don’t speak Spanish well enough to reply to your comment in Spanish, but if I understand the gist of what you’re saying…yes, I agree. There is so much on their website that it will be a wonderful resource for many months/years to come. I am very happy I took this workshop.
