What is RSS?

RSS can be a confusing thing for many people. Words like “aggregator”, “feeds” , “syndicate”, ” Web 2.0″, and “XML” are a foreign language to many. This video tutorial from Common Craft helps to explain RSS, as well as how and why to use it. The tutorial is not only easy to understand as its spoken in plain English as opposed to techno-speak, it is entertaining as well.

Very cool. It’s nice to know what to do with that code-ha!

I really like the video. It is simple, non-threatening for the “technophob” and explains how to set up an RSS feed in a very simple way. Only thing, could you put the link to the video so that we could add it to a set of links or download it for a file on blogging and RSS feeds?
