The Spring Branch Educational Technology Department is committed to supporting teachers in the district who would like to podcast in their classrooms. If you have a great idea for a podcast series, here is your chance! Your podcast can be one where you podcast for your students and/or parents, or one where your students create the podcast. Come up with a great idea, fill out the brief form below, and you could be on your way to being one of the first Spring Branch ISD Podcasters!
Five winning teachers will receive for their classroom:
- An iPod Nano (2nd Generation)
- A Griffin iTalk microphone (together these allow you to take your podcasting “on the road”)
- A headphone/microphone combo (allowing you and your students to podcast using a computer)
- A one-year subscription to LibSyn (your very own place on the web to host your podcasts)
This grant is worth over $300 per teacher
