This lesson introduces the 5 major world religions. Students will define monotheism and polytheism. Students will be introduced to the symbol for each religion. Comparing Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

This flipchart compares Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This lessson should be presented after students have knowledge of these 3 religions. See repository for a lesson Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In this lesson, students will compete a Venn diagram that compares the 3 religions. There is also a vocabulary matching page and activote review questions.

This lesson introduces students to the beliefs and practices of Christianity. This lesson is part of the World Religions unit. This lesson should be conducted after students have had a introduction to the 5 major world religions. (see repository for a possible lesson) This lesson should also be used in conjunction with lessons on the other monotheistic relgions of Judaism and Islam.
