This is an optional 8th grade flipchart that covers the Carbon Cycle.  Students pretend to be an atom of carbon and travel through the atmosphere.  Their path is determined by rolling the dice.

This flipchart is part of the 8th grade Living Systems and the Environment unit.

This should be taught AFTER photosynthesis and respiration. This is a way to review the two processes since this is a difficult concept for students.

• Compare the reactants and products of Glycolysis, Krebs, ETC, and fermentation.
• Name the locations of glycolysis, Krebs, ETC, and fermentation.
• Compare cellular respiration to photosynthesis after finishing the photosynthesis flipchart additionally.
