Physics 1 Academic: Grades 11 and 12
- Students analyze the effects of the force of gravity on the motion of an object in free-fall.
- Students interpret graphs of accelerated motion.
- Students calculate the final velocity and distance that an object falls for a defined time under the influence only of gravity.
- Students apply the concept of air resistance (friction) to understand terminal velocity and apply it to the motion of an object.
