OBJECTIVE: Given 50 minutes and various single-variable equations, students will be able to solve an equation for the value of a given variable by undoing the given operations to isolate variable.

OBJECTIVE: Given 50 minutes and various patterns, students will demostrate understanding of writing a function rule from a pattern in a table by calculating the growth rate and identifying the starting value.
