This is a 6th grade flipchart on cells. Students will learn the names and functions of the organelles in plant and animal cells. They should also be able to classify a cell as a plant or animal based on the organelles present.Mutations

DNA Structure and Replication

The student will be able to:
- List the three parts to a nucleotide.
- Describe the DNA structure, the base pairing, and the bonding.
- Describe the steps of DNA replication.
- Describe how DNA is packed.
- Define major vocabulary key words such as: purine, pyrimidine, histone, chromatin, and DNA polymerase.
