This is a 6th grade flipchart on nonrenewable energy. It is part 1 of 2. In this flipchart students will learn the definition of fossil fuels and how they are formed. Students will learn about oil, coal, natural gas and propane and the advantages and disadvantages of each. There is a streaming video clip and a flash file embedded in the flipchart.

This is a 6th grade flipchart. It is part 3 of 3 on renewable energy resouces. In this part, students will learn about hydrogen energy, and be able to list the advantages and disadvantages of using hydrogen energy. There is a short video from streaming video embedded in the flipchart. There is also a couple of pages that will get students thinking about all of the renewable energy sources.

In this part, students will learn about hydroelectric, geothermal and wind energy, and be able to list the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. There are short videos from streaming video embedded in the flipchart. There is also a website link where students will learn some of the things that go into the planning of a wind farm.

This is a 6th grade flipchart. It is part 1 of 3 on renewable energy resouces. In this part students will be introduced to the vocabulary renewable and inexhaustible energy. They will be able to define and differentiate between the two of them. Students will also learn about solar energy and biomass and be able to list the advantages and disadvantages of solar and biomass energy. There is a video clip from streaming video embedded in the flipchart.
