Patterns on a 100's Chart

Students can practice finding patterns on a hundreds chart by using this flipchart. There are a variety of charts available. For example, 0-99, 1-100, 201-300 etc... to 900-999.

Autumn Activities

In this flipchart students read a poem about a scarecrow and use their imagination to write a friendly letter to persuade. Short u words are sorted by the placement of the vowel sound. The math section reviews patterns on the 100's chart with an activote assessment. There is an art project at the end. The kids create torn paper portraits and write 5 sentences telling what they like about themselves.

Problem of the Day

This chart is used to review different problem solving strategies during the week. The reveal tool is used to hide the problems while reading the SBPSM steps. The pen is used to bracket, circle, and underline while reading the problem. Activotes are used to register answers.
