• Students calculate speed, velocity, acceleration of moving objects and investigate how forces affect motion in different frames of reference.

Physics Academic 1: Grades 11 and 12

• Students observe the effect of magnetic and electrical forces on matter.
• Students observe the relationship between electricity and magnetism.
• Students identify how magnetic domains and poles affect other magnetic objects.
• Students analyze the effects of magnetic fields on iron filings, compasses and navigation.
