A blog is web log…an online journal or diary of sorts. Blogs can be pretty much about anything, depending on the personality and interests of the author or blogger. Many people from all walks of life are doing it. Consequently, you can find blogs on practically any subject that interests you. For a list of EdTech blogs, as well as blogs written by teachers, classes, districts and schools, check out the list of web links on the EdTech’s del.icio.us site (more about what that site is later). Even your very own SBISD Educational Technology Department has a blog.

So how do you get started? Probably the best way is to start reading blogs that interest you. Session 4 will help you find blogs around the Internet that interest you.
