{Session 6 Overview}

Like Blogger, Edublogs is a free online blogging tool. It is arguably the largest educational blogging site on the web and is free for all educators. Most importantly…it is advertisement free. Edublogs uses the WordPress blogging tool as its platform…so if you’re accustomed to Blogger, you’ll see some similarities but many differences in the two blogging tools.

One tool is not necessarily better than the other. Many swear by Edublogs because it uses WordPress…clearly one of the most popular blogging platforms available. Others would use nothing else but Blogger. Its your call. The Web 2.0 Playground offers both blogging platforms in its professional development sessions, because they are both good tools.
